Refractory Insulation
Refractories are made from ceramic materials that can withstand high temperatures. Aside from its ability to tolerate high heat, refractory materials are physically and chemically durable. They are used in a variety of industries like steel manufacturing, petrochemical and refineries. Extensively used to line and insulate high heat components like boilers, furnaces, kilns and laddles. There are two main categories of refractories: preformed brick or unformed also called monolithic. They can be molded into different shapes to fit the intended application.
