Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Foam Insulation
Patsum Expanded Polystyrene Foam Insulation (EPS) is a lightweight, sustainable, and rigid closed-cell material that is CFC and HCFC-free. Among the insulation materials in the market, EPS has one of the highest R-Value rating per inch averaging between R-4.5 to R-4.7 depending on the thickness and density of the foam. Our material offers superb thermal and moisture insulation for roofs, exterior walls, perimeter and underslab insulation.
Patsum EPS foam is impregnated with top-grade masterbatch flame-retardant which reduces the detonation and spread of flame. This works by slowing down the rate of fire and allowing time for the flame to be extinguished. Our insulation material has a fire rating of B1 which makes it more resilient and safer in the construction industry.

Permeability refers to the ability of the substrate to allow the passage of water vapour thus lessening the risk of condensation and water damage. A high permeability rating means the material dries out quickly when wet thus allowing the foam to perform optimally as a thermal insulator.
-
Refers to the ability of the material to be compressed without deforming.
Patsum EPS foam provides dimensional stability and absorption of vibration and soil movement thus enabling better load distribution and resiliency over the long term.

Our EPS foam provides superior and effective thermal insulation in various construction projects. With its high R-value, durability and flexibility, it is indeed the ideal insulation for exterior concrete wall and foundation in the industrial, commercial and residential sectors.
