Bubble Foil

It is a radiant barrier that reflects back 97% solar heat. This is due to its aluminum material bonded with air bubbles in between. One of the main advantage of this material is that it is lighweight and an effective heat barrier with low emissivity. However, it would need at least an inch of air gap for it to work properly as a radiant barrier, otherwise heat will conduct through it rendering it ineffective.

Bubble foil insulation material is both a radiant barrier and a vapour barrier.
