5.     Why don’t we just import them ourselves rather than buying from you?

We specialize in insulation. We know how to look and check for quality in each of the products we bring in and most importantly we ensure that the quality is consistent all throughout. We know what works and what doesn’t. Importing, supplying and using substandard and sub specification materials will cost you in all areas including your business reputation and can also be a hazard to life and property

6.     Do your products have any quality certifications and test reports?

Yes we do. Most of our insulation materials conform to ASTM E84 to test for non-combustibility and flame spread.

7.     What are the consequences of buying cheap?

Low quality insulation materials would not be able to provide the correct thermal, moisture, fire and acoustic performance that is required.  Poor quality would have a different insulating and burning characteristics compared to a good quality one even though it is of similar specs.  Low quality insulation materials uses toxic raw materials, can corrode steel and is a fire hazard. Lastly, cheap materials would not last very long. You would need to keep replacing it very often. In the long term buying cheap would cost you more in terms of money, safety and peace of mind

8.     How do you check out and test the quality?

Check the size and weight then compare them with our materials. If it is undersized it would be cheap. For fiberglass wool, it should have good quality fiber that is dense and it should be bouncy and full with strong rebound rate. By pressing on it, it should return back to its original shape quickly. It should not look sagged, old and worn. Our rock wool is composed of 80% basalt, using phenolic resin binder with very minimal slag content. Poor quality ones would crumble easily and turn powdery even when new and still in package. Shots would be high and basalt content is less than 30% of which majority is slag. This type of rock wool is cheap and would not withstand the temperature that it is designed to be. Binders would disintegrate quickly under high heat and would not provide the correct thermal and acoustic performance
